Pat, I believe you graduated from Jacksboro High School. I am trying to assemble addresses for a possible reunion for you class, my class, and the one following my class. It will be held in 2017 and William Gleason said he would arrange for the food and a place to hold it.

I need a mailing address or better, an e-mail address for you.

    Thanks.

I wrote you about donating TX history books. That said, I know the work involved and stand amazed at the detail and wonderful stories you continue to present.
    Thank you, again!

What lovely houses! Several I wasn’t familiar with. Thanks for collecting them!

Thanks, Kris. More to come. When I first began exploring Fort Worth I was amazed by how many century-old houses survive, most on the North Side and South Side. Only a few on the East Side. And the West Side has only a few, but they are among the oldest and grandest.

    • Thank you for the memories. There was an old house built 1924 on Edgewood Terrace between East Lancaster & Meadowbrook Dr. It was owned by the Home Making teacher of the”Old Handley High School”. This is an old interesting home many of the school functions were held there like Teas, Christmas Parties and faculty functions. This house sat on the Corner of Edgewood Terrace and Norma St. on the West side, 2424 N. Edgewood Terraced, Ft. Worth, Texas

Thanks, Marian. That fine old plantation-style house could hold its own with the best on Meadowbrook Drive.
