Train Time! Maybe 11:23 a.m., July 19, 1876 Looked a Bit Like This

At 11:23 a.m. on July 19, 1876, when Fort Worth saw its future finally come shrieking and hissing into town, maybe the sight of Texas & Pacific engine 20 arriving looked a bit like Grapevine Vintage Railroad engine 2248 arriving at the Stockyards in 2016.

    Photo is dated 7/13/36. A vintage T&P train is on display for Railroad Week during the Texas Centennial year and 60 years after the first railroad reached Ft. Worth.
