A Memory Lane Named “College Avenue”

College Avenue in Fairmount, like Elizabeth Boulevard in Ryan Place and Grand Avenue on the North Side, is one of Fort Worth’s memory lanes—lined with architecture of the first half of the twentieth century. If you want to take a trip back in time, College Avenue south of the site of Fort Worth University—from Magnolia Avenue to Cantey Street—is worth a mosey.

      Jeremy, there’s a good chance that a photo of your porch is among the dozens I have not yet posted from the South Side. I just sorta dribble them out four at a time. I musta shot a half dozen yesterday, and that was just a drive-by!
