Let Them Eat (Birthday) Cake: Happy Hundredth

Joining the Century Club in 2013 are these structures:

Greater St. James Baptist Church on Harding Street downtown.

City & County Hospital on 4th Street downtown (Sanguinet and Staats, now part of the Maddox-Muse Center).

North Fort Worth Police Department on North Main Street.

Green’s Nursery on 5th Avenue in Fairmount.

The “Clinker House” on Foard Street on the East Side. The house was built of imperfect bricks from the Cobb brick factory, which was located a few blocks away. The house was owned by a Mr. Harris, who was the factory’s bookkeeper and also a cousin of the Cobb brothers. Cobb Park is named after the Cobb brick factory.
