Let Them Eat (Birthday) Cake: Happy Hundredth

Joining the Century Club in 2013 are these houses:

2317 Chestnut Street, built for Robert Ross, who was brother of Waddy and Samuel Ross of Ross Brothers Horse and Mule Company. The Rosses made a fortune selling horses and mules to the military during both world wars.

2908 E. 4th Street. Primary owner was Louis E. Barnett, a St. Louis-San Francisco Railway car inspector.

2608 Carter Street, built by William J. Boaz, a land developer and banker. Notice the vintage fence.

3241 Travis Avenue. Primary owner was Edward W. Bush, a clerk at the Metropolitan Hotel.

3400 St. Louis Street.  Primary owner was James A. Campbell, a Northern Texas Traction Company conductor.
